Presentation
- made by winterization process of the rice bran oil (Oryza sativa L.)
- light yellow to yellowish solid
- melting point (°C) : 75 – 82
- composed of very long saturated esters chains made from fatty acids and fatty alcohol.
Properties
- excellent oil gelling properties
- low level of use
- excellent substitute for beeswax to make softer and creamier emulsions
- can also be a useful replacement for Carnauba and Candelilla waxes
